Graduate College Scholarships
The Graduate College provides these scholarships to encourage students with intellectual, creative, and leadership promise to complete a master's or doctoral degree at Texas State University.  These scholarships are available for newly admitted and continuing students (but see college restrictions in the detailed description).  The award amount is $1,000 per semester.  The scholarship may be awarded for up to 3 semesters if recommended by the scholarship selection committee and approved by The Graduate College Dean.  Scholarships are awarded for the academic year and disbursed on a per-semester basis.

DEADLINES
To be able to start the application process for this scholarship, minimally your ApplyTexas application for admission into a graduate program must first be on file with The Graduate College.  The online scholarship application system opened on November 1.  Please read the remainder of this page before accessing the scholarship system via the link on the bottom of this page.  To receive full consideration for the scholarship, your application file to the graduate program must be complete; you must have filled out a scholarship application and submitted all required supporting documents for the scholarship online on or before MARCH 1.  We therefore strongly encourage you to start the application process as early as possible after November 1 to ensure that you will be able to complete the application and have supportive documents arrive by the March 1 deadline.
