BA and BS Degrees
The Psychology department offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Both options require 36 credit hours of Psychology coursework.
Bachelor of Science
The BS degree requires one of the following minors with 9 advanced science-based hours:
- Biology
- Biochemistry
- Chemistry
- Computer Science
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Geology
- Geography
- Anthropology

Bachelor of Arts
The BA degree also requires a minor, but you are not required to choose a science minor. Common minors for Psychology BA majors include, but are not limited to:
- Business Administration
- Communication Studies
- Criminal Justice
- Data Analytics
- Family & Child Development
- Social Work
- Sociology
- Spanish
