Occasionally, an academic program must be retired. Here are programs that our Alumni have graduated from, but are no longer offered.

Degree Programs

Master of Arts in Health Psychology

Clinical Approach: Students on this track learned to provide direct services to clients, employees, and patients
in a variety of settings such as rehabilitation centers, primary care centers, and hospices. A thesis was optional for this approach.

Research Approach: Students on this track focused on working with businesses and organizations to promote healthy workplace environments and/or evaluation of treatment and prevention programs. A thesis was required for this approach.

Certificate Programs

Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Texas State University offered a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Psychology to prepare individuals for career advancement in areas where Psychology and Criminal Justice intersect.
